Super nice Original Hamilton Watson Model.  Movement is a 17J grade 987-E with Serial # 4516724 signed Hamilton Watch Co.  This model was catalogued between 1936 and 1939.  Production records indicate that only 17,626 were ever produced.  This one comes with the more expensive option of 18K raised numbers.  Movement is cased in an original signed Hamilton  10K GF case. Here we have a very fashionable Gruen Veri-Thin.  Gruen developed "Veri-Thin" movements to drive newly designed and interesting watch case shapes.  The "Veri-Thin" development meant that Gruen offered an alternative to using a smaller, less-durable and less-reliable movement that other manufacturers had to resort to in order to fit more fashionable case designs.  Veri-Thin calibres are shaped to be thicker in the middle and thinner around the outside edges.  This piece is a 17 Jewel calibre 425 serial number C287280.  The 10K GF case measures approx. 36mm x 26mm.

Now this is Cool.  A high quality wristwatch with both Date and ALARM.  Yes, alarm!.  Check out the dial.  Notice the inner track.  There is a cool wavy small hand that you can set to arm the alarm.  Once the time hits your preferred hour, the watch starts striking, either waking you up or alerting you to an appointment that you just can't miss... like picking up your mother-in-law.  (there's a story there...) Here's an interesting looking Scalloped Bulova.  I love the way the New Old Stock crystal adds to the look of the dial.  The crystal is facetted into 4 sections.  The crystal is raised in the center, therefore giving the the watch a unique and interesting look.  Nice 17 Jewel calibre 10BT movement, recently serviced and ready to go.   The case is 10K GF and the watch is stamped L3 which dates it to 1953.  Wind the signed Bulova crown and away you go.  37mm x 27mm.
