Here's a pretty nice Elgin 16 size G.M. Wheeler. Nice solid 17 jewel signed movement in good working order serial # 4415267. Love the dial. Just a little different in that the numbers are slightly slanted. Not designed for the Railroad market, but rather presented as Elgin's "Gentleman's" line of watch, a cut and a half above your daily driver. The dial is basically mint with a nice crystal and a decent looking case. There is a small indent on the back side.

Do you like to collect Cool ? This is a Cool piece and you won't need to break the bank to purchase it. It's a Pocket Watch with Alarm. Swiss made and in good working order. You wind the watch by turning the crown. You wind the alarm by lifting the crown out and turning it. You set the time by depressing with your fingernail the "pin"on the left side (Pin Set) and then turning the crown, and you set the alarm (red hand) by depressing the right button with your thumb. Each press moves the alarm hand until you set it where you need it. Now isn't that kinda Cool? Oh, and I should mention... the dial is Mint, the bow is stiff and the case is in very good condition. We don't come across Alarms like this too often, and unless you want to try to purchase one somewhere else for a lot more money... I'd email us quickly.

Here we have a nice 18S ILLINOIS 17 Jewel lever set watch. I like the fancier case design on this one. Nice bold numbers with red 60 second outer track. Dial is great with the only issue being a chip on the outer edge of the dial between 3 and 4. As you can see, however, it is only noticeable when the bezel is removed. Nice damascene movement signed Illinois Watch Co. Springfield.

Not a perfect watch, but pretty darn nice.  Clean and crisp silveriod 18S with a nice stiff bow.  Check out the 15 jewel movement.  It's has a really nice damaskeen look and is in good running order. The dial does have a hairline by second bit, and back of case has a couple of marks near the bottom....not a big deal but priced very economically.
